EOI - political comedians event in march 2025 - “LIES!”
DATE to be confirmed (but before MICF). This event is dedicated to a discussion of just how much politicians lie. It’s aimed at getting heat on various reforms to stop this. Bring your lived experience of being screwed over by politicians on progressive issues. No right-wing rubbish please will be replied to. Character comedy welcome. Musical comedy welcome. There is fundraising underway so we can pay you $150 for the set, and we are seeking sponsors. Unless we can pay you, this won’t go ahead, and we will kick up some merry hell on behalf of comedians. Just so tired of us being underestimated by the comedy tone police, aren’t you?
